Adam S. Hout, MBA
Founder & CEO
Mr. Hout founded Hout Financial out of one simple belief: people deserve trustworthy investment management. A contrarian at heart, Mr. Hout challenges conventional methodologies to create opportunistic relationships, investments and ventures.

Prior to starting Hout Financial, Mr. Hout was a Financial Advisor and Institutional Investment Consultant for a Southern California based wealth management firm. In addition to providing comprehensive investment management to high net worth clients, Mr. Hout produced and submitted proposals for over $1.7 billion of institutional asset plans across the United States offering services such as asset allocation, investment manager selection, risk management/stress testing and board education.

Previously, Mr. Hout was a District Manager for a Fortune 500 company where he provided financial services to business clients of all sizes. During this time, Mr. Hout received multiple performance awards as well as being inducted into the company’s globally recognized management training program.

Mr. Hout also spent time playing amateur semi-professional ice hockey in both Canada and the United States. At a young age, these experiences taught him the value of relationships, honesty and a strong work ethic.

He obtained his MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurial Finance from Point Loma Nazarene University's Fermanian School of Business.

Mr. Moriarty passed all three levels of the CFA Program in 2016. As Vice President of Hout Financial, he brings a deep understanding of financial markets and international business strategies.
Prior to joining Hout Financial, Mr. Moriarty spent several years in executive positions within some of the nation’s largest software and consulting companies, including a Fortune 100 firm. In addition to Mr. Moriarty’s excellence in qualitative and quantitative analysis, he excels in the specific areas of technology, real-estate and venture capital.
He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Economics where he was a 4-year letter winner, 3-time all ECAC academic team member and assistant captain of the Harvard ice hockey team.
